Snowfly Footwear

Best purchases of the month:

Snowfly Footwear
A pair of ladies sandals for...
RM65.70

(at 70% discount of RM219)

A pair of men's shoes for...
RM104.70

(at 70% discount of RM349)

I got these from Maluri Jusco a week ago and for the sandals, only pink ones left. As for Dolzer, there were very limited choices due to foot size. Dolzer has big feet!

The last time I got myself a Snowfly was when I was pregnant with Chicky and wanted a comfortable sandals. That time the sale only gave a pathetic 10% and I ended up paying almost RM200 for it. It was an impulsive decision because my classy, younger days sandals were giving me miserable sore feet and bad backache ~

Caution:
Snowfly's leather is comfortable to wear in but the sole's are pretty much unreliable. Avoid puddles, wet or very rough surfaces as it will fall off after some time. Especially men's shoes. UK Brand.

We have been ill for the past week due to tummy bug. Porky had recurrence so I took time to care for him and also Chicky, afraid both boys keep giving back to each other. Porky cried most nights because we couldn't give him his milk and I had to take him down to spoon feed milo or water which greatly annoys him as he refuses taking in with bottles. Some nights he woke up at 5-6 am and refused to go back to sleep.

It has been a tiring roller coaster ride but I'm glad that they are back to their bubbly form. And I think I need a break
~

NO BREAKS!

Hellzbunny: SIGH~

Now Porky is back to his normal milking and feeding and best of all, he hardly wakes up for midnight bottle.
shoo~ Hopefully it stays that way and I will have a good night rest. Finally.

Chicky is as fit as a fiddle and Dolzer is doing fine as well. So I'm glad the family has recovered and back to normal routine.

.........................................................................................................................................

One morning after tummy bug episode...

Chicky: Mummee... Wake cup. WAKE CUP!

Hellzbunny: Ha...? @_@

Chicky: Mummy, are you okayy?

Nearby I heard Porky goes: Gu gu gu...

Hellzbunny: Ughh... @_@

That was the first morning when the boys were showing signs of recovery.

.........................................................................................................................................

The night "I" had tummy bug...

Dolzer: I'll be late tonight. Can you go and see the doctor first.

Hellzbunny: NO MONEY AH~ Only got small cash at the moment. Must have at least one "tai ngau" right?
(tai ngau = big cow = big note = RM50)
Dolzer: What do you mean no money... *nag nag nag*

Chicky was sitting on the bed, observing our conversation.

When Dolzer came home that night, Chicky jumped on top of Dolzer and hugged him tightly on the neck. Suffocating Dolzer.

Dolzer: Chicky! Get off! Where is The Cane?

Chicky: Daddee!!! WHERE IS THE MONEY?!!

Tummy Bug Log:

Sunday 12.07.09
Took Chicky to see a doctor in the morning after bouts of sudden vomiting the night before. Doctor said it's a tummy bug and he might have caught it from something he ate. Ma ma at that time was recovering from tummy bug as well.

Monday 13.07.09
Took great care of Chicky. Worried Porky might caught it as well. Chicky started eating lightly on porridge and taking in his regular honey water.

Tuesday 14.07.09
At 4.30 am, Porky started coughing up phlegm and vomited. Woke Dolzer. He took Porky to the toilet to vomit again. Changed sheets and went downstairs to feed Porky with Chicky's vomit medicine but Porky threw up again. Porky vomit at every 20-25 mins interval for almost 2 hours.

Dolzer himself not feeling too well so we waited out until the clinic opened. Dolzer suspected he caught the bug as well but the doctor doubted because there is no fever. Got the meds, came back and all three boys slept away.

Later that day, Dolzer was down with fever and did not wake up until the next day. As for the boys it was a nightmare: going through a cycle with their constant screaming, crying, vomiting, cleaning and screaming, crying, vomiting, cleaning...

Wednesday 15.07.09
Porky started to get better. Taking in porridge and water well. Slept almost the whole day and Chicky was a bundle of energy.

However, it was my turn now. At night time, I made myself a cup of warm milo oats right after feeding Porky's last porridge. Drank it all and happily savouring the warm feeling in my tummy.

As I was walking from the living area to the stairs, I felt a phlegm up my throat and somehow reminded me of Porky's first night of hell. I turned towards the kitchen and vomited on the garbage bag. It got worst! I tried swallowing because the phlegm was gagging my throat and another bout of vomit came! Bleh~

Went to see a doctor and got my tummy bug meds.

Thursday 16.07.09
Feeling sick and down the whole day. After feeding Porky in the morning, ask maid to handle him for the rest of the day. Ma ma took over on Chicky. I slept until dinner time.

Just as I though the boys on the road to recovery, Porky vomited again on the night time porridge. Took him to the clinic for more meds and he threw up on the way as well. Came back and both of us sick birds on the bed until morning. Chicky was practically neglected. *muaks*

note: Shouldn't start giving Porky milk for grace period of one week.

Today
Feeling slightly better. Porky ate his porridge well this morning. Chicky is being cheeky as usual.

By the time I finish this post, Porky is asleep while Chicky is downstairs watching tv. Hopefully all of us fully recovered by the weekend ~

Been going through a hellish week of severe pelvic joint pain and almost neglecting my blog ~

Been cleaning Chicky's and Porky's toys in the living room and realizing the water is black !!! Show maid the water and remind her to clean the shelves on the days she has less work. Fingers crossed .

Chicky & Porky Corner

Had dinner with my parents yesterday to bring the boys out and myself regardless of the discomfort I felt ~

Hopefully everything will be fine and Dolzer's migraine will go away due to work stress *muaks*

My PC's font still haywired because of Left 4 Dead and I can't view properly if my blog's text is alright or not.

Finally, the long awaited strip...

Time has come and gone

Random things that happened the past week:

Pregnancy Discomfort

I have severe pelvic joint pain. First felt during the early 2nd trimester but it got so bad that it hurts to:

  • Getting up or turning in bed (esp. in the morning). ~
  • Wearing pants. ~
  • Sitting too long. ~
  • Getting in or out of the car. ~
  • Movement. ~

*degree of pain(tears):
= ouch
= yeeaouch!
= Oooohooohooohoooooooooo!!! (yup, like Dolzer)

Back sores becoming a nuisance and need Dolzer's constant massage at night . I didn't have this problem with Porky except for the last two weeks before his birth, my belly was so huge I had very bad back sores (~ type).

I felt like an old woman and aging so fast I can hardly keep up with the boys and Ngau ngau. Most of the time I just lie on the bed, staring at four walls with Chicky and Porky dancing and bouncing around me as though I'm a bonfire .

Chicky: Mummy, are you okay? Mummeee.
Hellzbunny: ...
Chicky: Mummy, what's wrong? Mummeee...

Flu Away

Chicky and Porky finally recovered from flu .

Actually it was a week ago but I needed to be sure since the house is suffering from local flu. So, no more leaky nose in the night. No more sneezing in the day. No more occasional greenish phlegm whenever I clean their nose after shower.

The first medication was completely finished and we went for extended from the doctor. In total, Chicky and Porky were given medicine for about a week. However, when they still not fully recovered, I stop their medication and decided to wait & see. It kept bouncing back and forth; one day leaky nose, the next day better. Then the following day back to sneezy and leaky again. Pretty mind boggling.

Now that they are fully recovered, I couldn't deny them the pleasure of evening walks at the park! ~

Chicky and Porky enjoyed themselves tremendously after confining in the house for over two weeks . Better yet, Gong gong and Po po joined us.

Chicky: Ooo... Big fish

Scare-dy cat Porky

Spaced-out Chicky

Chicky: Po po. More bread peeeace...

Chicky: Mum mum... Fish big mum mum...

Porky starts running

Further & further away

Porky got tired

Porky got up & run again

Time to go

Vendors around

A happy Porky

As for me, I didn't get to stroll around with Dolzer. Pics taking already took up all my energy. I thought of blogging about it that night but the severe joint pain took my breath away and Dolzer now forbids evening walks to the park until Ngau ngau arrives *sobs*

Chicky: No picturee~ Mummeee no...

Dolzer and boys

I was lying on the bed, resting my poor hips. Busy browsing through the pics in my camera and asked Dolzer if he could watch the boys before I prepare them for bed. The usual routine would include

  • Brushing their teeth
  • Putting on a movie
  • Change Porky's nappy
  • Remind maid to bring up the boys' milk for the night
  • Prepare the bed: Pillows allocation for all boys (inc. Dolzer)
  • Taking out any towels or clothes lying around
  • Clearing the toys away so Dolzer won't step on it in the morning
  • Stock up Porky's nappies for the night

.........................................................................................................................................

SURPRISE

Now it's deng deng deng deeeng...

Finally got it to work! Happiness

Initially my brother bought the Left 4 Dead DVD from Leisure Mall and tested the multiplayer option.
Failed. Computer crash.

After installing into the PC, Dolzer tried to configure the game's programming script and computer settings.
Failed. Cannot detect other computers.

Dolzer downloaded a free software called Hamachi to create a private network for gaming. Tested with my brother until 4am.
Failed. Actually can detect other computers but cannot play. False hope.

Dolzer did weeks of research on the internet, subscribing to forums, reading from gamer's reviews, asking from friends (mostly still hooked on DoTA) and game sellers.
Failed. No further progress.

Then, brother went down to JB to work for couple of weeks and met up with a friend who also crazy over Left 4 Dead. Good news! His can work on multiplayer. Came back and tested it out.
Success. Still need to work on the kinks.

IT WORKED!!!

System requirement on my PC (the lowest):
  • OS: Windows XP Pro
  • CPU: 1.86 GHz Dual Core
  • RAM: 1.00 GB
  • Hard Drive: Around 6-7 GB free space left.
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE (Direct X9)
  • Sound: Not sure about sound card but it works

The requirements above is slightly below the manufacturer's but it worked well and has smooth gaming experience .

Problems:
  • My PC's font gone haywired. All changed. ALL.
  • The laptop that uses Windows Vista. We bought a pen drive to boost the RAM to 4GB and the game still crash!

Dolzer is still not giving up hope. Will take snapshots of the game once all of us are able to play!!!
